IT Support AssistantActon, London (Onsite)Salary: £28k - £32k I'm currently partnering with a growing consumer-focused business to recruit an IT Support Assistant to join their onsite technology team in Acton. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their IT career who enjoys hands-on technical support and wants exposure to a broad range of technologies, systems, and business projects. Working closely with the IT Operations Manager and wider technology team, you'll play a key role in supporting warehouse operations, ensuring business-critical systems remain available and colleagues receive timely, high-quality IT support. What You'll Be DoingProviding 1st line IT support across hardware, software, and business applicationsManaging and resolving service desk tickets within agreed SLAsEscalating complex issues where requiredPreparing, configuring, and shipping IT equipment for new starters and internal movesMaintaining accurate asset management records and technical documentationSupporting bespoke business systems and user testing activitiesAssisting with IT infrastructure rollouts and technology projectsIdentifying opportunities to improve service desk processes and user experienceDelivering responsive onsite support to warehouse teamsInstalling and maintaining desktops, laptops, tablets, monitors, printers, peripherals, and cablingTroubleshooting hardware and software issues to minimise operational downtime What We're Looking ForPrevious experience in an IT Support, Service Desk, or Helpdesk environmentStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical usersA customer-focused approach and willingness to help othersExperience supporting Windows devices, printers, and end-user hardwareAbility to prioritise workload in a fast-paced operational environmentStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsA proactive mindset with a desire to learn and develop technical skills What's on OfferExposure to a wide variety of technologies and business systemsOpportunity to contribute to IT improvement projectsHands-on technical experience in a fast-paced operational environmentOngoing learning and development opportunitiesClear progression within a supportive technology team Please get in touch if you'd like to learn more or discuss whether this opportunity could be a good fit for your background.
