Summary of Job:

This role is responsible for driving new acquisition revenue primarily from media agencies, and direct advertisers within Trader’s Media business group. Through development of new and existing relationships, and high daily ouput (ie cold calling, presentations and meetings), deliver our Media Value Proposition, new media investments and advance the position of Trader through enhanced data offerings, content partnership programs and consultative selling opportunities.

Develop critical relationships with new prospects throughout your agency territory to keep Traders’ offering top of mind at all times and maintain the highest level of awareness of client objectives both within the digital landscape, media market.

What you'll do:
 
- Deliver our value proposition by driving outbound calls and emails to build an active calendar with steady pipeline of new opportunities
- Nurture agency relationships in order to find new prospects by conducting Discoveries, Calls, and Lunch & Learns (occasionally at agency offices)
- Work closely with the Sr Director, Meda and all other sales and marketing professionals at Trader Corporation to establish and maintain an organized Prospect pipeline and forecast
- Participate in team meetings within sales, and cross functionally to learn, develop and grow within the business.
 
What you’ll need:
 
Required (R), preferred (P) or asset (A)
 
Education and Experience

- (R) Bachelor’s degree in marketing/business discipline

- (R) Minimum 3-5 years in B2B sales experience

- (R) Experience in Agency Sales, selling to mid-senior agency decision makers with understanding of media language and publishers

- (R) Experience selling technical competencies and self-teaching new developments in tech to apply knowledge effectively in the business

- (P) Intermediate level computer skills in Office suite and all virtual meeting/conferencing tools

- (P) Experience being a part of large, multi-tiered sales organizations with quota led structures

- (R) People skills; effective team player with strong communication (written & verbal) and listening skills.

- (R) Drive for results; persistent natured who is self-motivated

- (R) Problem-solving and analytical

- (R) Strong time and resource management skills along with organizational skills; ability to prioritize and quickly respond to internal/external requests.

- (P) Persuasive by nature, and quickly building rapport to increase win rates and satisfaction with AutoTrader brands

Working Conditions

- Hybrid environment (2 days required in office – Toronto)

- Travel Required up to 15%

Compensation

The expected compensation for this position is: [65K-75K Base + Commission]

 This range reflects the expected compensation at the time of posting. The final offer may vary and can be higher based on relevant skills, experience, location, and market conditions. This role also includes a sales plan (OTE) and may include benefits and other employee offerings.
