Accredited Clinical Vascular Scientist
Job Description
To undertake, interpret and report ultrasound scans and other tests for vascular conditions, working at the level of a fully qualified clinical vascular technologist. They will operate autonomously with the support of senior staff within the service.
To undertake specific roles in the day-to-day management of the department and will have specific duties within the service for which they will be expected to be responsible.
To run vascular ultrasound clinics in other trusts and to assume responsibility for these where required.
Contribute to ongoing quality improvement and audit projects within the department
Contribute to the teaching and training of junior and trainee vascular scientists.
