Position Background

This role supports that goal by accurately assessing and processing client requests, helping ensure requests are actioned compliantly and clients receive clear guidance through the relevant process.

Purpose of Position

The position exists to assess, process and administer client and adviser requests across Booster products accurately, efficiently and compliantly. This currently includes the Booster KiwiSaver Scheme, Booster Investment Series, Booster SuperScheme, Savvy and our Insurance products.

A key focus of the role is to guide members through the required process, helping them understand what is needed so their request can be progressed and the best possible outcome can be achieved, particularly for financial hardship applications.

Reporting Line(s)

The Admin Ops Administrator reports to the Admin Ops Team Leader in the area they are working, which is divided by product and work type.

Key Objectives/Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities are to assess and accurately process client requests, ensuring each request is handled in line with Booster’s processes, product rules and compliance requirements. This includes reviewing information and documentation, identifying what is needed to progress a request, communicating clearly with clients, members and advisers, and supporting clients through the process to achieve the best possible outcome. Requests vary depending on the area in which you are working:

Client Onboarding and Maintenance

Loading new client accounts

Processing transfers-in to the Schemes

Processing direct debits and deposits

Answering specific client and adviser queries via phone

Responsible for technical tasks including transferred calls and complex queries

Product and process subject matter experts

Processing letters and switches

Premiums and renewals for insurance product

Dealing with complaints

Any other ad hoc administration duties as reasonably requested by the company

Withdrawals teams

Financial hardship/serious illness application processing – all withdrawals teams process KiwiSaver financial hardship applications. This includes collecting and reviewing the information, assessing whether the application meets the relevant criteria, confirming if the required documentation has been received, communicating clearly. Communicating with the member about what is needed, and progressing the application through to the Scheme Supervisor for approval. The role helps guide members through what can be a complex and sensitive process, with the aim of achieving the best possible outcome while meeting Booster’s compliance obligations.

Loading withdrawals i.e. partial and full closure withdrawals

Closing accounts

Insurance claims

Responsible for technical tasks including transferred calls

Product and process subject matter experts.

Answering specific client or adviser queries via phone, email

Any other ad hoc administration duties as reasonably requested by the company

Person Specification
