Adr Class 1 Driver

If yes, you could join a friendly team .Our client is a well-established, dynamic company providing innovative and value-added waste management services, primarily focused towards the manufacturing sectorWhat will you be doing?· Ensuring that all transport compliance, legislation and in-house procedures are complied with at all times.· Working with the Transport Manager, ensure all vehicles are serviced and maintained in a fit and road worthy condition at all times in accordance with the Company’s Operating License requirements.· Be prepared at all times for any unscheduled checks and inspection by the Board of Directors or any representative of a regulatory authority.· Performing Daily vehicles checks / defect reporting.· Carrying out all driving duties in a safe manner as instructed by the Transport Manager.· Must adhere to company health & safety regulations.· Delivering, through the Transport Manager and operations team an agreed service level in line with Company KPI’s.· Producing and completing driver’s paperwork.· The role will involve using Curtainsiders, Hooklift Trailers, Tankers and Bulk TippersQualifications· Current Class 1 driving licence essential· ADR certified would be a distinct advantage or willing to obtain· Holder of digital tachograph card· Up to date with CPC training hours requirementSkills & Knowledge· Confident communicator with colleagues and clients, understanding the need to represent the Company in a positive, courteous manner at all times.· Practical hands-on approach, promoting a ‘can do attitude’ from self and others· Good geographical knowledge of the operational area covered by the Company· Must be flexible to support the growth of the company.Benefits:Company pensionFree parkingHealth & wellbeing programmeLife insuranceOn-site parkingSick payStore discountPay Rate:Driver annual salary - £37,482Weekday overtime rate - £15.47Weekend overtime rate – £16.54BH overtime rate - £21.34Night out £25/nightShifts:PermanentHours x 10 per day50 per week plus overtime (paid at 10 hours daily even if work less hours)Start time can vary most start around 5 amLimited spaces so please call us on 02920 393 444 , or click 'Apply' below.We look forward to working with you!
