API Automation Tester with P&C

Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly experienced API Automation Tester with deep expertise in Property and Casualty insurance to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will drive end to end API testing strategies across complex insurance platforms, ensuring seamless integration and high quality delivery throughout the policy lifecycle. You will validate underwriting, rating, policy issuance, endorsements, billing, and claims workflows while supporting both Personal and Commercial Lines of business. The position requires hands on involvement in designing and implementing scalable API automation frameworks, improving test coverage, and ensuring reliable system integrations across enterprise insurance environments. You will collaborate closely with business analysts, developers, and product teams to ensure insurance products such as Auto, Life, Homeowners, Workers Compensation, General Liability, and Umbrella are thoroughly tested and aligned with business requirements. This opportunity offers the chance to work on large scale insurance transformations and contribute to high impact digital initiatives.

Required Skill

• 12 or more years of overall IT experience with at least eight years in the insurance domain, specifically within Property and Casualty.
• Strong understanding of Personal Lines and Commercial Lines products and comprehensive knowledge of policy lifecycle processes including underwriting, rating, policy issuance, endorsements, billing, and claims.
• Proven expertise in API testing and building API automation frameworks from the ground up, including designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test suites.
• Experience working with modern API protocols and validation techniques. Strong analytical skills with the ability to validate complex end to end insurance workflows. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross functional teams.

Desired Skill

• Experience working with leading insurance platforms such as Guidewire or Duck Creek.
• Exposure to large scale enterprise insurance implementations or digital transformation programs.
• Familiarity with industry best practices in quality engineering and continuous integration environments.
• Relevant insurance or quality assurance certifications are preferred.
