Required Skill Set

• Strong experience on AS400iSeries Platform.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain applications on AS400 iSeries platforms.
• Develop and enhance business applications using RPG (RPGLE Free-Form RPG) to support critical enterprise systems.
• Develop and maintain CL (Control Language) programs for job scheduling, batch processing, system automation, and operational support.
• Design, develop, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and indexes on DB2 for I database.
• Perform impact analysis for changes and ensure backward compatibility.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues with minimal downtime.
• Participate in application modernization initiatives, including refactoring green-screen applications where applicable.
• Design and maintain DB2 for i database structures, ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Optimize SQL queries and batch jobs for high-volume processing environments.
