About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Kitchen & Front of House (FOH) Team Members to join our vibrant Asian eatery in Newmarket, Auckland. This is a full-time or part-time position offering flexible hours to suit your lifestyle. You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering exceptional Asian cuisine and outstanding customer service in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Whether you're working in the kitchen preparing authentic dishes or greeting guests at the front of house, you'll play a vital role in creating memorable dining experiences for our customers.

Key responsibilities

Kitchen Team Members

• Preparing and cooking Asian dishes according to established recipes and quality standards
• Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen workstation in compliance with food hygiene and safety regulations
• Managing food storage, stock rotation and inventory levels
• Working collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure timely order completion
• Assisting with food preparation, plating and presentation

Front of House Team Members

Welcoming guests in a friendly and professional manner

Taking food and beverage orders efficiently, processing payments accurately

Serving food and drinks with customer satisfaction

Maintaining a clean and presentable counter and display area

Responding to customer enquiries and addressing any concerns promptly

What we're looking for

Previous experience working in an Asian kitchen, with skill of making Vietnamese fresh rolls is desirable

Food safety and hygiene knowledge

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Attention to detail and commitment to quality

Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Flexibility to work varied shift patterns including evenings and weekends

Reliable and punctual attendance

Customer service experience or natural aptitude for hospitality roles is a plus
