To support scalable operations and strong internal controls, the full-time remote Assistant Controller will lead the accounting team, ensure accurate financial reporting, and maintain audit-ready financials in a fast-growing organization.

##### Key responsibilities include

Lead, mentor, and develop the Staff Accountant team, providing coaching and feedback

Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations

Prepare and consolidate financial statements and reports while maintaining audit-ready schedules and documentation

##### Required qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field

5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in high growth, SaaS, fintech, or benefits sectors

Prior experience leading or reviewing the work of junior accounting staff

Strong knowledge of GAAP and month-end close processes

Experience with sales tax compliance and multistate operations
