**Basic Grade Cardiac Physiologist**

An opportunity has arisen to join our Cardiology department on a fixed term basis until May 2027.

The Mater Private Network is a JCI level 6 Accredited Hospital and is one of the leading Private Cardiac Care hospitals in Ireland. As a Cardiac Physiologist you will work with a multi-disciplinary team of world class experts and specialist covering the full spectrum of cardiac conditions.

The Heart and Vascular Department provides a full range of both non-invasive testing (ECG, Stress Testing, Ambulatory Monitoring both Holter and BP and Trans-thoracic Echo) .

Continuous Education is a focus of the Cardiac Department with Physiologist, Cardiologist and Industry led sessions.

Application Criteria

• Possess the BSc in Clinical Measurement from Dublin Institute of Technology or equivalent. Or possess the Certificate in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement from Dublin Institute of Technology or equivalent.
• Echo accreditation desirable but not essential. Mater Private supports and welcomes Physiologists to undertake professional exams aligned to the needs of the department.
• Echo reporting along with all other cardiac non-invasive testing is mandatory in the Mater Private. Training will be provided where necessary.
• IT skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage a high-volume workload
