**Te whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity**

This role provides the opportunity to be part of a step change in Beca’s enterprise technology programme, supporting Beca’s second century of growth. You will work within cross-functional delivery teams implementing, enhancing and integrating our suite of enterprise applications.

You will support and contribute to business analysis activities across multiple enterprise workstreams, eliciting, documenting and validating business and system requirements using a range of techniques including workshops, interviews, process mapping, data analysis and desk-based research. Exposure to end-to-end enterprise processes, system integrations and data flows will be key to success in this role.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams and implementation partners to help simplify complexity and deliver practical, value-driven solutions. Your responsibilities will include defining functional and non-functional requirements, supporting system configuration and design decisions, documenting key requirements and assumptions, and balancing enterprise best practice with pragmatic solutions that meet business needs and delivery timeframes. You will also support testing, data migration, cutover and change management activities, and contribute to the development or refinement of enterprise business process definitions.

Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to build effective working relationships are essential. You will be comfortable managing multiple priorities, context switching across systems and workstreams, and supporting delivery within a large and evolving enterprise transformation environment.

**Mōu ake | About You**

We are seeking a Business Analyst with 5+ years’ experience working on large, complex business and technology initiatives, ideally involving core enterprise system platforms. You will have experience working across a range of delivery methodologies and be skilled in developing functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and business process documentation.

As a Business Analyst with enterprise systems exposure, you are able to understand end-to-end business processes and how technology enables them, while also managing the detail. You are comfortable working within complex system environments and can translate business needs into clear, structured requirements. You adapt your communication style to suit a range of audiences, from business users to technical specialists.
