Job Description

**Business Analyst**

--------------------

**BA Lead – CMS** is responsible for leading business analysis activities for **Crew Management Systems** and related aviation operational modules. This role ensures accurate requirements gathering, process optimization, and acts as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams.

**Key Responsibilities**

• **Requirements Gathering & Analysis**
• + Conduct workshops and interviews to capture business needs for CMS and crew scheduling workflows.

+ Perform gap analysis and identify process improvement opportunities.

• **Documentation**
• + Prepare **BRDs** , **FSDs** , user stories, and acceptance criteria aligned with Agile practices.

+ Maintain traceability matrices and ensure compliance with aviation standards (FAA/EASA).

• **Stakeholder Management**
• + Collaborate with product owners, architects, and delivery teams for scope clarity.

+ Manage change requests and perform impact analysis.

• **Quality Assurance**
• + Support **UAT planning and execution** ; validate deliverables against requirements.
• **Leadership**
• + Mentor junior BAs and enforce documentation standards across CMS modules.

Ensure consistency in analysis practices across aviation workflows

**Core BA Skills**

• Strong experience in **requirements elicitation** , **gap analysis** , and **business process modeling** .
• Expertise in **BRD/FSD creation** , user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Proficiency in tools like **Jira** , **Confluence** , **MS Visio** , and **Azure DevOps** .

**Domain Knowledge**

• Deep understanding of **Crew Management Systems (CMS)** and aviation operations.
• Familiarity with **regulatory compliance** (FAA/EASA) and airline industry standards.

Mandatory Skills: Business Analysis .

Experience: 8-10 Years .

The expected compensation for this role ranges from CAD 100000 to CAD 150000 .
