We are looking for a **Business Development Coordinator (Pacific)** to join our growing International team, supporting our work across the Pacific region. This role plays a key part in strengthening Beca’s presence in the Pacific, building meaningful relationships, and helping our teams win and deliver important projects that make a real difference to Pacific communities.

Working closely with the International Manager – Pacific, Country Managers, Client Leaders, and Market Segment teams, you will bring structure, coordination and momentum to our Pacific growth strategy. You’ll act as a connector across geographies, helping ensure our people are aligned, informed, and supported to deliver outstanding client experiences across the region.

**While the role has a strong preference for being Auckland‑based, we are also open to applications from candidates based in Tauranga or Wellington.**

**Ngā** **Mahi** **|** **What** **You’ll** **Do**

**Business Development & Client Engagement**

  • Support client relationship management across key Pacific markets (Fiji, PNG, Samoa, Tonga, Vanuatu, French Territories, FSM, RMI and others).
  • Coordinate BD activities including pursuit planning, bid preparation, client insights, and opportunity tracking across the region.
  • Work closely with Country Managers to maintain client call plans, BD pipelines and market intelligence.

**Strategy & Market Development**

  • Contribute to the delivery of Beca’s Pacific growth strategy and help embed consistency across business lines.
  • Develop high quality collateral, presentations, and messaging tailored to Pacific clients and funders (ADB, World Bank, MFAT, DFAT, SPC etc.).
  • Support the development of market plans and strategic priorities for each Pacific country.

**Bids & Proposals**

  • Assist with bid coordination, writing, and review for Pacific pursuits, ensuring compliance with procurement processes and funder requirements.
  • Facilitate internal BD processes such as Bid/No Bid reviews, pursuit planning and bid kick off sessions

**Collaboration & Internal Connectivity**

  • Act as a link between NZ, Australia, Asia, and Pacific teams to support “One Beca” ways of working.
  • Help teams access tools, training, templates, and best practice for Pacific work.
  • Support reporting on Pacific opportunities, wins/losses, pipeline and performance metrics.

**Mōu** **ake** **| About You**

We are looking for someone who is organised , proactive, and passionate about building relationships. You will bring:

  • Experience in business development, client coordination, project administration or a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence engaging across all levels of the business.
  • Strong writing skills and attention to detail, especially when supporting bids and proposals.
  • An interest in the Pacific region, including culture, development challenges, and community outcomes.
  • A collaborative, positive, “ can do ” mindset and the ability to work across multiple teams and time zones.
  • Familiarity with BD tools such as Dynamics, PDS or similar (desirable but not essential).
