Driving growth for the New Product Development (NPD) Group, the full-time remote Business Development Engineer will manage customer relationships, accelerate product launch timelines, and identify new business opportunities within the medical device industry.

##### Key responsibilities

Own the account lifecycle, managing strategic growth, contract negotiations, and partnership health

Identify and capture new business opportunities, targeting R&D-stage projects and innovative medical device platforms

Bridge the gap between customer engineering teams and internal NPD resources, providing technical consultation and solution selling

##### Required qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Biomedical, Mechanical, Materials Science, or related field)

3-7+ years of experience in the medical device industry, particularly in R&D engineering or product development

Strong understanding of medical device design and the product development lifecycle

Proven "hunter" mentality with a passion for business growth and relationship building

Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills for engaging with technical teams and executives
