CAMHS Single Point of Access Team Manager
Job Description
Respondingto calls within time limits set out in theAll-AgeSPA Operational Protocols.
Beingfully conversant with statutory and non-statutory services across Brent, Harrow, Hillingdon, Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster, and the provision of CNWLCAMHSservices in each borough.
Ensuringsafe and effective delivery of care / advice toyoung peopleand theircarers, utilising own knowledge and skills.
Providingsupport, information and education to family members, carers and other professionals who may access theCAMHSSPA.
Buildingandmaintainexcellent working relationships with key stakeholders, such asCore and Urgent Care CAMHS team,GPs, the Police and LAS.
Acting as the point of escalation in CAMHSSPA inrelation to difficult callsand being able to further escalate asappropriate.
Demonstratinggood risk assessment and management skills, ensuring that decisions maderegardingcalls are in the interests of the individual patients needs and their safety.
Participatingin both clinical and managerial supervision in relation to role.
Participatingin the ongoing monitoring and evaluation of the SPA Service, ensuring that all required data is collected.
Monitoringstandards of clinical practice of the SPA, recommending changes where necessary.
Beingresponsible forthe maintenance ofaccuratepatient records on relevant patient information system (ie. System One).
SupportingtheSPA CAMHSadministration lead in the screeningandmanagement of emails in the SPA (CAMHS) inbox.
Supportingthe Clinical Lead and Service Manager in thelonger-termstrategic development of the SPA service.
