Cardiac Physiologist - Basic and Senior Grade

Full Time and Part Time Positions available

We are currently recruiting for Cardiac Physiologists to join our team at Mater Private Cork to work in our expanding Heart and Vascular service.

You will work within with the multidisciplinary team in the Heart and Vascular department providing a full range of non-invasive diagnostic testing and interventional procedures

The Heart and Vascular Department provides a full range of cardiac non-invasive and invasive investigations and treatments including ECG, stress testing, ambulatory monitoring, device follow up clinics, transthoracic and transoesophageal echo, angiography, PCI, EP studies and ablation; pacemaker and ICD implants

Candidate Requirements

1. Applicants should be an associate of the Society for Cardiological Science and Technicians or equivalent

Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Clinical Measurement Science, Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT)

Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Clinical Measurement Science, Technological University Dublin (TUD)

* Certificate in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement (MPPM) from Dublin Institute of Technology (if qualified in or prior to 2005).

3. The successful candidate should possess good interpersonal skills and an awareness/sensitivity towards patient needs.

4. Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage a high volume workload.

5. An ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team

6. Strong communication skills.

7. Strong IT skills
