Do meaningful work in your community as a Special Needs Caregiver!

At BAYADA you'll work one-on-one in home and community settings as a Companion and Mentor as a part-time Special Needs Caregiver for Adults with Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities to help them reach their full potential! This is a wonderful opportunity for anyone who has ever worked as an Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT), Behavioral Technician (BT), Paraprofessional, Teacher/ Teaching Assistant or anyone who loves caring and supporting others.

BAYADA is urgently hiring part-time Special Needs Caregivers throughout Lancaster County including:

Lancaster
Manheim
Elizabethtown
Landisville
Mountville
Willow Street
New Providence
Leola
New Holland
Ephrata
And towns throughout Lancaster County, PA!

We Offer our Special Needs Caregivers:

$18-$19
Weekly pay
Consistent 1 on 1 clients
PTO

Job Responsibilities for Caregiver - Special Needs:

You will provide personal care assistance (dressing, grooming)
You will accompany clients on errands and appointments
You will spend time on the client’s favorite hobbies and activities
You will assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation
You will participate in community integration activities

Qualifications for Caregiver - Special Needs:

One year experience working with I/DD individuals; If you do not have this experience, training may be available through our apprentice program
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT), Behavioral Technician (BT), Paraprofessional or Teacher/ Teaching Assistant is highly preferred but not required
