• About the rolesWe’re looking for experienced and caring Caregivers to join our team at Oakridge Villas Care Home in Kerikeri.

We currently have a mix of permanent part-time and fixed-term opportunities, including:

Permanent part-time

Role 1: Sunday to Tuesday, 3pm–9pm – 16.5 hours per week

Role 2: Wednesday to Saturday, 3pm–9pm – 22 hours per week

Fixed-term

30 hours per week

Pool/leave cover across AM, PM and night shifts

You’ll need flexibility to work across different shifts, including weekends, during the fixed-term period

Reporting to the Nurse Manager and working under the direction of our Registered Nurses, you’ll provide high standards of care and support to our residents.

Supporting residents with their day-to-day and personal care needs

Working under the guidance of our Registered Nurses

Building positive relationships with residents and their families

Helping create a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment

About youAttitude is important to us. We’re looking for Caregivers who genuinely enjoy working with older people and bring reliability, empathy and a positive approach.

Ideally, you’ll have

• A Health and Wellbeing qualification or equivalent
• Previous experience in aged care or working with older people
• A positive, proactive and reliable approach
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Empathy and a genuine desire to make a difference in our residents’ lives
