Casual Relievers (Qualified and Unqualified)

We are inviting expressions of interest from Qualified and Unqualified relief teachers to join our supportive Educare whānau across the Auckland region.

With centres across Auckland, this is a great opportunity to gain quality ECE experience while enjoying the flexibility of casual relief work.

About the Role

We are looking for relievers with broad availability, ideally

Available for full-day shifts

Available Monday to Friday

Able to travel across our Auckland centres

This is a casual reliever position that covers permanent staff during sick leave, annual leave, and other absences.

No guaranteed or set hours

No obligation to accept shifts that don’t suit you

Opportunities to work across multiple centres and age groups

This role is ideal if you enjoy variety, flexibility, and working with different teams and environments. It is also a great opportunity to gain quality ECE experience across a range of centre settings.

What You’ll Be Doing

Supporting high-quality, play-based learning aligned with Te Whāriki

Building positive relationships with tamariki and whānau

Assisting with daily routines, care moments, and learning experiences

Contributing to a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment

Working alongside and supporting teaching teams across our centres
