Supporting Neonatology and Pediatric Subspecialties, the full-time Certified Coding Liaison will deliver coding education, lead training for physicians, and provide documentation feedback while working remotely.

##### Key responsibilities

Deliver proactive coding education through newsletters, presentations, and scorecards covering various coding guidelines and payer requirements

Lead onboarding and compliance training for employed physicians and APPs, ensuring accurate documentation practices from the outset

Serve as the primary contact for coding inquiries, coordinating with internal teams to resolve complex coding issues and monitor charge submissions

##### Required qualifications

Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), Coding Specialist (CCS), Coding Specialist - Physician (CCS-P), or Professional Coder (CPC) certification required

Completion of advanced training through a recognized or accredited program equivalent to post-secondary education

A minimum of 4 years of experience in expert-level professional coding

In-depth knowledge of ICD, CPT, and HCPCS coding guidelines

Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology for precise code assignment
