Chef de Partie

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Chef de Partie (39 hours per week) with a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience for Curry Mama, located at 30 Crumlin Road, Crumlin, Dublin, D12 HXW0, Ireland. The salary is €36,620 per annum.

The successful candidate must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar professional kitchen environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of high-quality dishes while maintaining excellent standards of food quality, consistency, hygiene, and safety.

Responsibilities include

• Preparing and cooking a range of dishes including Indian curries, grilled dishes, and tandoori items.
• Operating and maintaining a tandoor oven and preparing naan and other traditional breads.
• Managing the assigned kitchen section and ensuring food is prepared to the required standards.
• Preparing ingredients, controlling portion sizes, and maintaining consistency in food production.
• Maintaining HACCP, food safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
• Assisting with stock control, stock rotation, and minimising food waste.
• Working effectively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• The successful candidate must have strong knowledge of Indian cooking techniques, grill preparation, tandoor operations, HACCP procedures, and the ability to work efficiently in a busy professional kitchen environment.
