Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Toronto, ON, for a Cisco SDA/SDWAN Architect. The role involves designing, implementing, and managing complex Cisco SDA (Software-Defined Access) and SD-WAN (Software-Defined Wide Area Network) solutions. The architect will work collaboratively with teams to assess network requirements, develop scalable architectures, and ensure optimal performance. Responsibilities will also include troubleshooting, optimizing systems, and providing technical leadership and documentation to support project delivery and ongoing operations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Cisco SDA and SD-WAN technologies, including architecture, configuration, and troubleshooting
• Expertise in networking principles, including routing, switching, firewalls, VPN, and network security
• Proficiency in designing scalable network solutions and implementing policies for optimal performance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting and optimizing network infrastructures
• Proficiency with tools and protocols such as Cisco DNA Center, REST APIs, MPLS, and QoS
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with teams, document architecture, and provide technical guidance
• Industry certifications such as Cisco CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are highly desirable
• Experience working in enterprise network environments or telecommunications is an asset
