Job Description
About the role
You'll be operating a range of machinery on the Hampton Downs project, including excavators/diggers (50t), bulldozers, articulated dump trucks, rollers, compactors and other civil plant as required. The project involves bulk earthworks, roading, trenching, backfilling, cut & fill, site preparation and general civil construction works. Operators must be willing to jump out of the machine and assist on the ground when required.
Key responsibilities
Operate excavators/diggers (50t), bulldozers, articulated dump trucks, rollers and compactors
Operate other civil plant as required
Perform bulk earthworks, roading, trenching, backfilling and cut & fill operations
Assist with site preparation and general civil construction works
Assist on the ground when required
About you
Proven experience in bulk earthworks, civil construction and roading
Experience with trenching, backfilling, cut & fill operations
WTR endorsement (essential)
Full Class 1 License minimum
Reliable transport to travel to site (essential)
Strong safety awareness and communication skills
Reliable, hardworking and a team player
Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
Able to pass a pre-employment drug & alcohol test
