Class 1 Driver

Here at GXO, we’re expanding and looking for dedicated Class 1 drivers to join our energetic team at Rochdale (OL16 4NZ) working with our Transport team.

This is a full-time, permanent role. You will be contracted to work 40 hours per week, on a shift pattern of Monday to Friday with start time between 04:00 - 07:00. Further details regarding your shift pattern and working schedule will be provided during the assessment process, as this role may involve occasional night outs depending on operational requirements.

What you will do on a typical day:

Trunking and tramping deliveries to Regional Distribution Centres (RDCs)

Operate company vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient manner

Complete all necessary paperwork correctly, in full and on time

Be compliant with Driver’s hours, Tachograph, Working Time, and Road Traffic Act regulations

What you need to succeed at GXO:

A full EU driving licence with category C+E entitlement

A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)

Be in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card

No more than 6 current penalty points

No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years
