Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Azure

MCS Group are proud to be working with a prestigious Dublin based organisation that's investing heavily in its IT and digital capability. They're looking for an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support a programme of infrastructure, security and operational change.

This role sits within an internal IT function and focuses on delivering business-critical projects end-to-end, working closely with technical teams and senior stakeholders. This is a permanent opportunity with a comprehensive benefits package.

(Hybrid - Dublin City Centre)

### What You'll Be Doing...

Supporting and maintaining Azure environments across production and non-production

Acting as a 2nd/3rd line escalation point for complex cloud issues

Building and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / Bicep)

Automating operational tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and CI/CD pipelines

Supporting Microsoft 365 services (identity, security, access)

Contributing to monitoring, security, and governance best practices

Driving continuous improvement across cloud operations

What they're looking for

Strong hands-on Azure experience in live environments

Experience with IaC (Terraform and/or Bicep)

Scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Azure CLI)

Exposure to CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions etc.)

Solid understanding of cloud security, identity, and networking

Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments

Unrestricted right to work in Ireland

Nice to have

Azure Certifications a strong advantage
