DS Technologies Inc is looking for **Configuration & Infrastructure Network Engineer (Level 1)** rolefor one of our premier clients.

**Job Title: Configuration & Infrastructure Network Engineer (Level 1)**

**Location: Los Angles, CA**

**Position Type: Contract (9-12 months)**

**Visa - Any one authorized to work in US.**

**Experience: 3 Years**

**Job Description:**

• Proposed candidate shall have 3 years of experience installing and configuring low voltage IT systems.
• Experience in the following area(s) is preferred:

a. Genetec Omnicast Certification

b. Genetec Synergis Certification

c. BICSI RCDD Certification

d. 1 year in the following areas

• Genetec Security Center 5.11 or newer
• Cisco or HP Enterprise Network Configuration
• Cisco and Aruba Local Wireless Controller
• Cisco VoIP and CUCM
• Valcom IP Public Address
• DMP(Digital Monitoring Products)
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Installing, configuring and troubleshooting local area networks, wireless networks, VoIP systems, IP Public Address/Intercom and IP Video Camera systems.

• Configuring a variety of networking equipment.
• Analyzing and solving networking problems.
• Reviewing and evaluating IT system designs for compliance with industry standards.
• Conducting site surveys and on-site assessments and preparation of design/scopeof-work (SOW) for installations.
• Preparing clear and concise reports and technical documentation.
• Formulating and expressing ideas clearly and effectively in writing and orally.
• Setting priorities and successfully completing tasks in a timely manner.
• Related tasks:

o Conduct site surveys

o Develop scopes of work

o Create bill of material

o Accept equipment deliveries at warehouse

**Create asset workbooks**

o Generate e-mails of status completions

o Rearranging Network equipment

o Install power equipment (UPS/Stepdown Transformers)

o Install and configure network switches, modules, cards etc

o Install and configure IP converged system equipment

o Install Cat6e/Fiber patch Cords

o Troubleshoot LAN equipment
