The Role

• \*Deliver practical and theory construction sessions to students aged 14-16, helping them develop their technical skills and confidence.
• \*Demonstrate construction techniques and correct, safe working practices.
• \*Supervise students using tools, equipment and materials within practical workshop environments.
• \*Support students working towards construction qualifications and practical assessments.
• \*Maintain high standards of Health & Safety across workshop and practical learning areas.
• \*Work alongside teaching and learning colleagues to support student progress and development.
• \*Contribute to a positive, inclusive environment where students are encouraged to achieve their potential.

The Person

\*Level 2 qualification or above in a construction trade, such as Carpentry, Bricklaying, Plastering, Painting and Decorating or Multi-Skills.

\*Practical experience within the construction industry.

\*Strong understanding of Health & Safety and safe working practices.

\*Confident demonstrating practical skills and supervising others using tools and equipment.

\*Patient, approachable and able to engage positively with young people.

\*Strong communication skills and a genuine interest in supporting students.
