Courier Driver

We’re looking for a dependable, highly efficient hands-on operator who loves early starts, takes pride in accuracy, and enjoys varied work. You’ll split your time sorting, driving a variety of courier runs . You'll also be the back-up, and the backbone of the team.

Courier Driver Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles safely to deliver parcels, packages, and goods to designated locations within the specified area.
• Plan delivery routes efficiently to maximize productivity and minimize fuel consumption, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
• Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions, including package handling, documentation, and addressing customer inquiries or concerns.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks, promptly reporting any issues or concerns to the owner and business development manager.
• Contribute to a positive work environment by collaborating with team members and actively participating in continuous improvement efforts.

SKILLS REQUIREMENT

• Proven experience in a similar role, demonstrating the ability to deliver accurately on operations and drive results in a transportation or logistics environment
• Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
• Practicality - able to demonstrate roles in which you were practical.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact professionally with customers.
• Flexibility to work variable hours, including early mornings & weekends as needed, to meet business demands.

Operations Coordinator Responsibilities

Excellent attention to details, ability to follow directions.

Provide insights about other team members performance to management.

Coordinate parcel sorting so vans are ready to load and go.

Implement measures to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, H&S standards & policies.

• 4:45am-6pm Weekdays (Rural Run)
• * Sundays 10:00am-6pm Weekend (Some Sundays/back up)
• Early Starts: ~ 5am starts
