Creative Designer - Fixed Term

What will you do?

We are on the lookout for a Christchurch based experienced Creative Designer to join our Creative Services team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This is an exciting opportunity for a creative professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys delivering high-quality work that makes an impact. You'll play a key role in bringing the Ryman brand to life through the creation and rollout of engaging digital and print assets across a range of campaigns and channels. Working closely with marketing and business stakeholders, you'll combine creative thinking with hands-on delivery, championing brand excellence, exploring emerging technologies and AI-enabled design tools, and contributing fresh ideas that enhance creative outcomes and customer experiences.

Key responsibilities include

Creating high-quality digital and print assets that engage audiences and bring the Ryman brand to life.

Leading the production and rollout of creative assets across campaigns, communications, and customer touchpoints.

Championing digital design excellence and leveraging emerging technologies, including AI-enabled tools, to enhance creative outcomes.

Maintaining brand consistency through the development and management of brand assets, templates, and visual standards.

Collaborating with stakeholders to deliver creative solutions that meet business objectives while contributing ideas, expertise, and continuous improvement across the team.

Who are you?

You have proven experience in a similar role, with a track record of delivering high-quality digital and print creative assets, managing large-scale asset production and campaign rollouts, and maintaining brand excellence across multiple channels.

You have a digital-first mindset and experience creating engaging content across integrated campaigns, social media, websites, eDMs, video and other digital channels.

You bring ideas to life through design, motion graphics, animation and video, translating briefs into compelling creative solutions.

You have a strong eye for detail and brand consistency, delivering high-quality work across multiple channels in a fast-paced environment.

You stay current with emerging digital trends, technologies and AI-enabled design tools, using innovation to enhance creative outcomes.

You value people and kindness and are passionate about delivering results
