To support the revenue cycle operations, the full-time Credit Processing Specialist will analyze physician and hospital accounts, manage billing and follow-up for government payers, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in a remote environment.

##### Key responsibilities

Analyze insurance and patient credit balances to identify root causes and resolve accounts

Contact payers to inquire about account statuses and document billing activities in accordance with departmental guidelines

Ensure compliance with privacy, HIPAA, and regulatory requirements while participating in required training and assignments

##### Required qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent, or post-high school diploma/highest degree earned

Two years of experience in billing, bookkeeping, or accounting

Knowledge of functions related to Denial/Appeals Specialist, Payment Research Specialist, and Quality Assurance Specialist
