Custodians
Job Description
Maintain cleanliness of assigned areas; pick up and remove trash and debris. Responsible for property clean up including bio-chemical material. Deliver and retrieve rollaway beds, irons, ironing boards, and other items to guest rooms. Stock linen supplies in linen closets; load and unload linen carts. Ensure preventative care of equipment and supplies. Other duties as assigned by management. The workers in the position of Custodians work with the following bio-chemical material cleaning products:
- Product Name: Clean on the Go Biorenewables Glass Cleaner - Recommended Use: cleaning agents
- Product Name: XClenete Multi-Purpose Cleaner - Recommended Use: cleaning agents
- Product Name: BNC-15 - Recommended Use: disinfectants
- Product Name: Spar-Go -0 Recommended Use: liquid detergents
Product Name: Airlift Smoke & Odor Eliminator (BULK) - Recommended Use: air freshener
Requirements: Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods for majority of shift. Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 100 pounds. Must pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal background check. IP Casino screens all applicants through drug tests and background checks, including domestic and H-2B visa employees. This includes seasonal and full-time annual positions and is applied to all applicants regardless of their national origin, race, or gender.
