Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Design Engineer II will manage network design assignments, perform circuit design activities, and communicate progress with internal teams while meeting performance targets.

##### Key responsibilities

Responsible for design planning, record creation, and order fulfillment of Zayo's products, focusing on growth products

Provide support to field operations to resolve complex circuit provisioning problems and ensure timely completion of orders

Review orders for technical correctness and maintain customer commitments and deadlines in the database

##### Required qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent education and experience

Minimum of three years of telecommunications and/or data networking experience

Intermediate knowledge of data networking and telecommunications, including various network products

Working knowledge of routers and other data hardware

Experience using Microsoft Office and project management software
