Job overview This is an opportunity to join Cornwall’s Diabetic Retinopathy Screening Programme whose centre is based at Royal Cornwall Hospital, Truro. The Programme screens over 32,000 patients each year in 70 locations throughout Cornwall in GP practices, community hospitals, and in a mobile screening unit. Patients’ retinae are screened using specialist ophthalmic cameras to capture digital images of the back of the eye to detect diabetic retinopathy. Images then undergo a stringent primary…
