Emergency Medical Technician - Entry Level

**Job Summary**
Join our dynamic emergency response team as an Entry-Level Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). In this vital role, you will provide immediate, high-quality pre-hospital care to patients in diverse settings, ensuring their safety and comfort during urgent medical situations. **Duties**
- Respond promptly to emergency calls, providing essential medical assistance on-site and during transport
- Assess patient conditions through thorough physical examinations and vital signs monitoring
- Perform airway management techniques, including oxygen administration and basic airway stabilization
- Execute patient triage to prioritize care based on injury severity and physiological status
- Administer medications, injections, and other treatments following established protocols
- Operate ambulances and emergency vehicles safely, adhering to all driving regulations and heavy lifting safety standards
- Document detailed patient assessments, treatment provided, and transport information accurately in reports
- Maintain aseptic techniques during procedures to prevent infection and ensure patient safety
- Collaborate with hospital staff during critical care transport, sharing vital information for continuity of care
- Support urgent care scenarios by assisting in emergency room procedures when needed
**Experience**
- Previous experience in hospital or emergency room settings is highly desirable, especially with trauma or critical care environments
- Demonstrated knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and emergency medicine protocols
- Hands-on experience with airway management, venipuncture, medication administration, and vital signs assessment
- Critical care experience or Level II trauma center exposure is a strong plus for understanding complex patient needs
- Familiarity with DME (Durable Medical Equipment) use and patient assessment techniques is advantageous
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to perform heavy lifting safely is required
- Prior EMT experience or certification from an accredited program is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level candidates willing to learn
