About the role

We are a progressive bakery serious about making beautiful bread products to a consistently high standard. We are looking for a baker passionate about bread and unlocking the potential of water, flour and salt with us.

Key responsibilities

Dough handling and fermentation management

Mixing multiple doughs on a shift, from yeasted doughs, to sourdough, to enriched doughs

Proving and baking a large section of breads and pastries accurately and efficiently

About you

Located in NZ (no overseas applications)

Fit, strong, energetic team player

Experience and knowledge of dough handling and fermentation. Or, 2 years previous commercial bakery experience and a desire to learn more

Passionate about your work and dedicated to improving everyday

Accurate and consistent

Great time management

Ability to work early morning shifts (4am starts approximately 4 days and 2:30am starts approximately 1 day)
