Experienced Barista / Front of House
Job Description
We need one experienced barista at our busy café at 205B Coatsworth Road, Gateshead NE8 1SR. You must have hands-on espresso machine experience, make coffee confidently to a high standard, and give warm, attentive service while working efficiently with the team.
You must be able to cover ALL four regular shifts every week: Wednesday 12:00-20:40; Thursday 13:00-20:40; Friday 11:00-17:00; Sunday 11:00-17:00. About 28 hours 20 minutes a week before breaks. More hours may be available later. You need reliable travel to Gateshead for every shift and to be able to start promptly.
The work includes preparing espresso drinks, serving pastries and food, helping customers, and keeping front of house clean during busy service. High-end hospitality experience is welcome.
