Cleaning all areas of allocation to the required standards and using the approved and trained techniques

Complete the delivery of / support the delivery of the patient meal service

Replenishment of consumable items within area of allocation

Removal of waste materials and disposal of such in correct waste disposal streams

Operation of any cleaning equipment trained to facilitate allocated duties (ie regen oven, vacuum, floor cleaning equipment)

Able to record all information required as part of the completion of duties

Attend training sessions required to allow the completion of allocated duties

What you will bring to the role The roles will provide cleaning duties (dusting, mopping, cleaning toilets, sinks, patient beds etc) within either wards, departments or public areas, dependant on which role the successful candidates are appointed into. Within ward areas the role is also required to complete full catering services to Patients (after training has been given).

- Ensuring the environment is cleaned to the highest standards.

- Catering duties involve a caring, Patient centred approach to meal & beverage services.

- There will be an expectation to complete ad-hoc duties when required.

Portering role will provide site support in moving stock, stores and equipment as well as patients. Post, medical gas & linen delivery. Waste handling and removal. The ideal candidates will be enthusiastic, good team players and able to work on their own initiative and be able to demonstrate the Leeds Way Values

Full Training and a uniform will be provided.
