Factory General Hand & Forklift Driver
Job Description
About the role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Factory General Hand to support our cabinet manufacturing operations. This is a hands-on role that involves assisting across multiple areas of the factory to ensure smooth day-to-day production and dispatch.
Key responsibilities
Packing finished cabinets and components safely and securely
Loading and unloading cabinets into shipping containers and delivery vehicles
Assisting with general factory duties as required
Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the factory floor
Driving forklift
Supporting cabinet makers and machine operators when needed
Handling materials and products with care to avoid damage
Following health and safety procedures at all times
Assisting with stock movement and basic inventory tasks
About you
Previous experience in a factory, warehouse, or labouring role desirable but not essential
Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy items
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
Good attention to detail
Team player with a positive attitude
Valid Forklift licence essential
