Farm Equipment Mechanic
Job Description
Duties include but are not limited to the following: Perform comprehensive maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of farm machinery to prepare equipment for field operation, including air drills, combines, quad-track tractors, and four-wheel-drive tractors. Inspect and diagnose equipment malfunctions; dismantle, repair, or replace worn or defective mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components; clean and lubricate parts; reassemble equipment; test operation; and make necessary adjustments. Record repairs performed and parts used.
