Job Description

Crops: Blueberry and blackberry starts

Manually plant, cultivate, and harvest horticultural specialties. Use hand tools such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears and knives. Duties may include tilling soil and applying fertilizers; transplanting, weeding, thinning or pruning crops; applying pesticides; or cleaning, grading, sorting, packing, and loading harvested products. May construct trellises, repair fences and farm buildings, or participate in irrigation activities.

Requirements: 2 months of experience. We require two months of recent and verifiable experience within the past two years for the job duties listed. This position requires a minimum of two months for the employee to get a full understanding of the job and responsibilities. Must be able to understand work & safety instructions in English or Spanish, the languages spoken and written in the workplace.
