Job Description
Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops; Use hand tools such as shovels, scoops, brooms for duties such as auguring grain, scooping grain, turning levers and knobs to dry grain, sweep bins with hand broom after grain is augured; Load agricultural products into trucks without over or under filling and drive to market or storage facilities; Must be able to work in dusty conditions and be willing to work inside grain bins; Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate employer provided safety equipment. Must speak and understand English.
Requirements: 3 months of experience. Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Be able to lift up to 10 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a drug test at no cost to the worker and be subject to the employers drug free and alcohol free workplace policy including testing protocols. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
