Finance Analyst (FP&A) / Remote / Contract

Our client, a global retail and ecommerce leader, is hiring for a contract Senior Finance Analyst. This is a remote position with PST hours preferred.

This role will support their Field Finance team, which is responsible for tracking and monitoring key operating metrics and SG&A expenses for stores across North America. This role will support weekly, monthly, and quarterly store performance reporting, including budget and forecast variance analysis, and will contribute to key analytical projects across the Field Finance team.

The Senior Analyst will primarily partner with the Brand Finance team and will also collaborate cross functionally, as needed, with Field Leadership, Store Operations, Human Resources, Compensation, Labor Engineering, and other business partners.

Contract Duration: 5 Months Initially

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or MBA preferred
• FP&A experience, including forecasting, variance analysis, and month end close support
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize large data sets into clear, actionable insights
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to partner effectively across all levels of the organization
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with cross functional teams
• Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to build and optimize financial models
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
• Hyperion Essbase experience a plus
