About the Role

We are bringing sales and account management in-house across existing customer accounts to support our New Product Development (NPD), while actively identifying and expanding into new retail channels not currently served. Based in Auckland, this role focuses heavily on direct customer interaction, business development, and high-impact store merchandising to maximize brand exposure and successfully launch our product range into the market.

Key responsibilities include:

Account & Channel Growth: Directly manage existing customer accounts for NPD rollouts while prospecting and securing new store listings in unserved retail channels.

In-Store Merchandising: Ensure optimal shelf positioning, stock placement, and display setup for maximum retail exposure.

Product Rollouts: Partner with our marketing team to launch new product lines and drive store-level promotional execution.

Relationship Building: Maintain ongoing, direct rapport with key store decision-makers, buyers, and prospective stockists.

Work Hours & Remuneration

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM (flexible options available).

Base Salary: $65,000 – $75,000 base per year (dependent on experience).

Requirements

Experience: 2+ years of FMCG experience, ideally within ethnic grocery stores or broader retail distribution.

Merchandising Focus: Strong eye for detail in retail presentation, display layout, and stock placement.

Autonomy & Drive: Ability to work independently in the field, build new account opportunities, and stay connected with the team.
