Forklift Operative

Right Now Group are currently recruiting experienced Counterbalance Forklift Operators based in Colnbrook / Slough for an exciting Temp to Perm opportunity. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and experienced forklift operators looking for ongoing work with the potential to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period.

As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating material handling equipment, managing pallet movements and supporting the smooth flow of goods through warehouse and dispatch operations.

Responsibilities of a Forklift Operative

Safely and efficiently operate Counterbalance Forklifts in line with company policies and health & safety standards

Load, unload, move and stack materials, goods and products

Carry out daily visual safety checks of forklift equipment and report any faults

Accurately complete warehouse documentation and support inventory control procedures

Assist with picking, packing, labelling and general warehouse duties when required

Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment at all times

Work effectively as part of a wider warehouse and logistics team

• Shift:4 on 4 off nights
• Hours:19:00 - 07:00
• Pay:
• £14.00 per hour
• Key Skills of a Forklift Operative:
• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence - RTITB / ITSSAR accredited or equivalent
• Proven experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift within a warehouse or logistics environment
• Good understanding of warehouse health & safety procedures
• Reliable, punctual and committed to ongoing work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills and attention to detail
• Flexible approach to supporting general warehouse duties when required
