Since opening in 2014, Social Kitchen has become a local institution in New Plymouth — an award-winning restaurant known for great food, an extensive wine list, classic and specialty cocktails, and genuine hospitality.

Now we’re looking for an enthusiastic Front of House / Wait Staff team member to join our team.

We’re looking for someone who loves hospitality, enjoys connecting with guests, and wants to work somewhere that takes pride in doing things well.

What we're looking for

• Previous hospitality or customer service experience is preferred, but a great attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.
• Friendly, confident and comfortable talking with guests.
• An interest in food, wine and cocktails.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay organised when busy.
• Reliable, proactive and a great team player.
• Keen to learn and develop your hospitality skills.
• * Flexible to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
