Health Care Assistant

Duties

Support residents or clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance

Assist in developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet each person's unique needs

Maintain clear and effective communication with team members, residents, and their families to ensure consistent quality of care

Use IT systems to document care activities accurately and update records regularly

Drive within designated areas to support home care visits or transport residents safely when required

Promote a safe environment by adhering to health and safety protocols and reporting any concerns promptly

Engage actively in team meetings and training sessions to stay informed about best practices and care standards

Experience

Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care services is highly desirable

Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to listen attentively and convey information clearly

Familiarity with creating or following care plans to deliver tailored support effectively

Basic IT literacy for documentation purposes and using digital health records

Valid driving license and experience driving for work-related duties are advantageous but not mandatory

Pay: £16.50-£19.50 per hour
