Our residents require experienced, friendly, supportive, and capable Health Care Assistants to enable them in their activities of daily living.
Hours of work:
Flexible days, between 1500-2300
30 hours per week
About us:
McKenzie HealthCare is situated in the lovely rural village of Geraldine in South Canterbury. We are an aged care facility for 72 residents; we cater for residents with complex needs at Hospital, Palliative, Rest home and Dementia levels of care.
About you:
A caring, competent, passionate, and reliable caregiver who shows respect and empathy for the elderly.
Enjoy working as part of a team with great people skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Available to work weekends.
1-2 years’ experience caring for the elderly (desirable) Or Completed level 3 in Health and Wellbeing (desirable)
A New Zealand Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid Work Permit.
