Health Care Assistant

Moana House is an aged care facility set in rural Whangamata in the Waikato region.

This role reports directly to the registered Nurse and/or clinical Manager

You will have 2 yrs caregiving experience

• Assist and work under the direction/delegation and supervision of the RN to meet resident person centered  care needs
• Ensures safety of the residents, other staff and the environment is maintained.
• Organization and Culture, Demonstrates a commitment to the Organization values and Culture
• Demonstrated good observational, written and oral skills
• Caring considerate attitude
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Document effectively in relevant systems/documentation pathways.

Assist in daily routines support with nutritional intake

Support with Physical, Intellectual, emotional and social needs.
