Job Description
Overseeing health information management operations, the full-time remote Health Information Management Supervisor will manage daily workflows, ensure compliance with regulations, and maintain effective partnerships with healthcare providers while supervising HIM-related activities.
##### Key responsibilities
Monitor daily HIM workflow and assign work tasks as needed
Conduct training for new hires and ongoing team development
Prepare statistical reports and manage key performance indicators related to HIM activities
##### Required qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
5 years of experience in an acute care facility related to Health Information Management
1 year of experience with hospital-based electronic medical records
Computer skills are essential
Previous management or supervisory experience is preferred
