Healthcare Assistant

Skills And Experience The candidate should have experience in a Healthcare environment as they will be required to provide both administration and customer/patient, support including chaperoning patients and assisting the  Radiographers throughout the scanning process. They will also have a commitment to some admin duties related to the patient pathway in line with standard guidelines. To be successful in this role they must have good communication skills both written and verbal, together with good IT and administration skills and the ability to understand and comply with radiation protection protocols. Excellent patient care skills are essential.

You will also be required to IV cannulate patients as part of the role. Rest assured, should you not have any prior experience in IV cannlation, we will provide full training.

Attention to detail is key, along with being flexible, organized and having an enthusiastic attitude.

You will need to be able to work with a high degree of accuracy and under pressure, meeting deadlines and turn- around times.

To be successful in this role you must have good communication skills both written and verbal, together with good IT and administration skills. A flexible, organized and enthusiastic attitude is essential with a good attention to detail.
